Sam started riding and filming dirtbikes

Started the Geelong FreeRiders Association petitioning local council for public riding areas and Moto-X track

1997

Formed the Wilful Damage crew

2001

Started building the first WD compound/track

2004

Hosted the first WD party where Sam sold the WD shirt off his back. Sam and the crew then realised they could make something out of this

​

2005

Hosted the second WD party where it got shut down. The Wilful Damage crew defied the ban and the crowds came anyway. The place was permanently shut down soon after.
